What made it hard

Peter had check-raised the turn to $180,000. When the river brought a third spade, he moved all in for $488,500, more than the $418,500 already in the pot. Keating's pair of kings with an eight kicker was ahead of a bluff, any smaller pair or a weaker king. It was behind a flush, a straight, a set, two pair, pocket aces or a better king. Nobody was left to act, and calling meant putting $488,500 into a pot of $907,000.
