What made it hard

Peter had checked and called on the flop and the turn. When the river put a third diamond on the board, he bet $150,000, almost the size of the pot. Keating's two pair, queens and eights, was ahead of a bluff, any one-pair hand and a smaller two pair, and behind a flush, a straight, a set or a bigger two pair. Calling meant putting $150,000 into a pot of $303,000, with no one else in the hand.
